Round Spring Caverns
The Round Spring area is home to a family campground, a picnic area, a tour cave and the spring from which it takes its name. Round Spring was a Missouri State Park from 1932 until 1964 when the people of Missouri donated it to the National Park Service to become one of the star attractions of the new Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Like Alley and Big Spring, it was a gift from Missouri to the nation.

Current River Caverns
One of the smaller show caves in Missouri, Current River Cavern, formerly called "Big Spring Onyx Cavern," is exceptionally well decorated with a wide variety of natural cave formations. A year round stream flows through the tour passage beneath the boardwalk and a small waterfall can be seen flowing from a side passage after heavy rains. It is the longest mapped cave in Carter County, with a total mapped length of nearly ½ mile.
